Have you wanted to try environmental friendly cleaning products but have been hesitant? A common misconception is that they don't work as well as their chemical-filled counterparts.
Well, here are 8 products that I use (that work!) and are from companies that I trust.

CleanWell Botanical Disinfecting Wipes
These act just like the usual disinfectant wipes, except they're better for the environment and have zero harsh chemicals! Kills 99.9% of germs ~botanically~ and eliminates odors. I love using these for quick, easy clean up.
Better Life Natural Wood Polish
I love this stuff. It makes the entire house smell SO fresh and makes wood shine. Forget that fake lemon or orange scent. This comes in Cinnamon & Lavender (which is the one I have), or Lavender & Grapefruit.
Better Life products are packaged using solar energy and recyclable materials, and biodegrade two-to-five times faster than leading natural and conventional cleaners. I also like their floor cleaner which I've listed below.
Better Life Floor Cleaner
Works great on hardwood, tile, marble, bamboo, vinyl, laminate, and other sealed floors. Plant derived, free of dyes, synthetic fragrances, sulfates, and petroleum solvents.
There's a lot to like about this product. The company uses organic and fair trade ingredients that are biodegradable, and they're committed to reducing their carbon footprint. All their soaps are packaged in 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles.
I use this for body wash and hand soap. It can also be used for shampoo and an all-purpose cleaning product - just dilute it with water first. It comes in a variety of scents, as well as non-scented. My favorites are the peppermint, hemp rose, and lavender.
Seventh Generation Dish Soap
Cleans like regular dish soap without the synthetic fragrances or dyes that irritate your skin! It's made with plant based products and scented with essential oils. Also comes non-scented.
ECOS Laundry Detergent
Hands down my favorite laundry detergent. It smells so great and does a great job cleaning my clothes without synthetic fragrance and dyes. It's biodegradable and septic and greywater-safe.
ECOS is made in the USA using thoughtfully sourced global ingredients and powered by 100% renewable energy, so you can feel even better about your purchase. I prefer the Magnolia & Lily scent, it also comes in Lavender and Free & Clear.
Hedgehog Dryer Balls
These aren't necessarily "green" per se, however, they are re-usable and they last a long time, which helps your bank account and the landfill.
Rocco & Roxie Stain & Odor Eliminator
Alright, so this one isn't necessarily "green" either, however, it contains natural enzymatic bacteria, is chlorine free and without hazardous propellants. I swear by this stuff. I have tried SO many pet odor eliminators (both natural and chemical-filled) and this one actually works without leaving behind a horrible cleaner smell like most pet odor cleaning products do.
Works for any type of stain - whether it be pet puke, poop, or urine! It also works on my hardwood floors, though I have to be careful not to scrape off the wood stain while I'm blotting urine.
